I’m Jimmy, finance professional with over 15 years of experience in auditing, financial management, and strategic leadership. I hold a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Controlling from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and specialized further at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
I began my career as an auditor, gaining expertise in financial reporting standards (IFRS, Dutch GAAP, and exposure to French GAAP), risk management, and operational efficiency across sectors such as oil and gas, retail, FMCG, and banking. These experiences equipped me to optimize financial operations and ensure compliance.
As Head of Finance for various organizations, I developed a leadership style focused on purpose, communication, and leading by example, fostering trust and accountability to drive team success.
I am also a guest lecturer, teaching accounting, financial reporting, and strategic risk management. Fluent in Dutch, English, French, and Spanish, I thrive in international settings, promoting cross-cultural collaboration.
